We are a group of Christians in Gladstone (Central Queensland, Australia) who meet together in our homes like the early church (Rom 16:5; 1 Cor 16:19; Col 4:15; Phm 2). Meeting in our homes helps us to encourage genuine friendships in an informal family atmosphere, with parents and children worshiping together.
Our Sunday meetings begin with morning tea as everyone arrives, and typically include:
• Singing — anyone may request a song from our songbook on the day (Eph 5:19; Col 3:16).
• An open sharing time during which we encourage one another with Scriptures and testimonies (1 Tim 4:13; 1 Cor 12:8, 14:26).
• Prayer time in small groups (Col 4:2–4).
• Bible teaching led by biblically qualified men (1 Tim 3:2).
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as a full meal, with everyone bringing a plate to share (1 Cor 11:17-33).
On Tuesday evenings we also have a prayer meeting and Bible study, and we have a youth group which meets fortnightly on Friday evenings.
