Welcome!
We are a group of Christians in Gladstone (Central Queensland, Australia) who meet together in our homes like the early church (Rom 16:5; 1 Cor 16:19; Col 4:15; Phm 2). Meeting in our homes helps us to encourage genuine friendships in an informal family atmosphere, with parents and children worshiping together.
Our Sunday meetings begin with morning tea as everyone arrives, and typically include:
• Singing — anyone may request a song from our songbook on the day (Eph 5:19).
• Prayer time — anyone may share a testimony or prayer request and participate as we break up into small groups to pray (Col 4:2–4).
• Bible teaching — anyone may bring an encouragement from Scripture (1 Cor 12:8, 14:26; Col 3:16; 1 Tim 4:13); Bible teaching and preaching is led by biblically qualified men (1 Tim 3:2; 2 Tim 4:1-5).
On the first Sunday of each month we all bring a plate to share and celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a banquet (1 Cor 11:17-33). Tuesday evenings we have a prayer meeting and Bible study, and our young adults also meet together fortnightly on Friday evenings.
On the third Sunday of each month (February to December) we set up a stall at the Rotary Charity Markets, held at the Botanic Gardens. The stall features our unique dinosaur artwork and addresses the most commonly asked questions about creation, evolution, and the Bible — check it out here and come visit!
